The Dog Days Are Here: Bringing Your Pet to New London Inn

Don't leave your best friend at home! At New London Inn, your dog isn't an afterthought to the trip, they're part of the plan from the moment you book. That means a room set up for them before you arrive, a town just outside our door that's as walkable for four legs as it is for two, and a weekend built with both of you in mind.
What's Waiting When You Arrive
Your dog gets a warm welcome of their own! Every stay includes a Pup Package waiting in your room: a dog dish, a milk bone, and bio bags, so you're not digging through your car for supplies before your first walk. Our dog-friendly rooms are set up the same way any other room is, comfortable, quiet, and ready for a good night's sleep.
Main Street, But Make It a Dog Walk
Step outside and you're already somewhere good. The town green sits right next door to the inn, which makes it an easy first stop for stretching legs after a car ride. From there, Main Street itself is dog-friendly for blocks, past shop windows and benches and the kind of small-town pace that makes a leash walk feel more like a stroll than a chore.
A Farm Stand Your Dog Will Also Enjoy
Spring Ledge Farm is a short drive from the inn and worth the trip. The farm stand, the flowers, the wide open rows, it's the kind of place where a well-behaved dog on a leash fits right in alongside everyone else picking out tomatoes. Bring a water bowl for the car and make it part of the same outing that includes your Main Street walk.
Room to Roam
If your dog needs more distance than a town walk gives them, the trails near New London are close enough for an afternoon outing without eating up your whole day. A shorter, well-shaded loop is an easy way to tire out a dog before dinner. We're happy to point you toward a route that matches your dog's energy level and your own plans for the day.
Evenings at the Inn
Mornings start with complimentary coffee and pastries for you, right here at the inn, no reservation required. For dinner, ask our front desk about seating your dog with you out on The Elms' patio. It's one of our favorite parts of summer, dinner outside with your dog curled up under the table while the evening cools down.
A Weekend Worth Wagging About
By the end of your vacation at New London Inn, you and your dog have had a real trip together, not just a stay. Walks around town, a stop at the farm stand, dinner outside side by side, and somewhere in between, a lazy afternoon with nowhere else to be. That's a weekend worth coming back for.
