Check-in / Check-out

Check in time: 3:00 PM. After 8:00 PM, late check-in procedures apply.

Check out time: 11:00 AM (Please check with the Front Desk to request a late check out‑ fees may apply)

Our Main Side Entrance door to the Inn is locked overnight. Starting from 8pm, a 4 digit code is required to enter the building. Current code will be sent with your Reservation Reminder email. The number of our on-call staff member is located at the door should any issues arise upon late night check in.

Additional Guests and Children

Each Room is based on a double occupancy. Each additional guest will be charged $25 per night.

Children 12 years old and under stay for FREE.

Parking

Parking is located at the back of the Inn in our private parking lot.

There is NO overnight parking on Main Street. NOTICE: You will be fined or towed by local police.

Pets

We have a limited number of pet friendly rooms. Please call in advance if you wish to bring your pet.

$30 pet fee, per pet, per day, applied for your stay.  See Additional Pet Information.

Minimum Stays

Some high-season weekends and Holiday weekends may require a minimum night stay.

Smoking

The entire Inn is NON‑SMOKING, including both porches. The New London Inn reserves the right to charge $250.00 (smoking charge) to the credit card on file for a cleaning fee and any damages, including smoking in the Guest Rooms.

Liquor Policy

Due to New Hampshire Liquor Laws, all alcoholic beverages consumed on the Inn’s property must be purchased from the Inn.  We are happy to serve you wine, beer or spirits from our full bar upon request.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

Deposit Policy: 50% of total amount due at time of reservation.

If you cancel your reservation 14 days or more days prior to your scheduled arrival date, we will return your deposit, less a $30.00 cancellation fee.

Cancellations made within the 14 day period may either be rescheduled or will be charged the full amount of the deposit.

Cancelling or reducing a reservation within 24 hours of your arrival, including early departure, is considered a no-show, and you are responsible for your entire reservation and will be charged.

We reserve the right to charge for any damages or missing items to/from your room during your stay. Charges will be applied to the credit card on file.

We highly recommend travel insurance to protect against last-minute emergencies that impact your travel plans. We are aware of a site called Insure My Trip where it is possible to get quotes from many insurance providers.

Multiple Room Reservations

For reservations of 5 or more rooms, we require 4 weeks advance notice for a cancellation. Cancellation charges apply to each room. For reductions with 14 days notice, we will credit deposits to remaining rooms with no charge.

Methods of Payment

Cash, check, MC, Visa, Discover and AMEX accepted.

Taxes

Room Rates and Food and Beverages are subject to 9% NH rooms and meals tax.
